it's been a month since i updated my livejournal. this makes me very very sad, but also not so much. whatever i had with this journal, is gone. momentarily, or not i don't know. i will read and comment, but i wont write anymore.

may06 - no, i didn't brush my hair today. no, i don't care that i had to go grocery shopping.

still, rainbows as i was leaving work? awesome.

april23 - we went bowling. i like to bounce the ball.
not on purpose, it just kind of happened that way.
this board shows me winning. in two frames
i lost to mr matthew by three. no matter! fun.
also one of my 101project goals ^_^

april24 - sparklers for no reason? why not?

april25 - sky needle in west end. i hate it.. i think
because i have to see it all the time. it caught
on fire a while back and they're
finishing up the refurbishment. as of two days ago,
it now glows red and green of a night time.
lucky for anyone who happens to live in the area.
who needs sleep anyway?

april26 - just under the wire at 11.57

april27 - day off meant sitting around watching t.v.,
tidying the house and randomly singing to myself.

april28 - i have always always wanted graceful feminine hands. i want to run fingers through hair,
i want to trace patterns on backs, i want art to flow... but these
are what i have instead. my work makes my hands horrible, unappealing and manly.
i have callouses and scratches and cracks. when asked what i would change
about my body, i never answer my weight (which should most definitely be the obvious answer)
... i want slender gorgeous hands.

i should really keep up with posting my 365project photos here (especially since it seems to be the only thing i use my livejournal for at the moment) and i promise i will tryyyyyyyyy... not that you care, just for my own ease. ha! until then, i present to you:

april12 - 101project, 43. make an edible cake. i did, it was. banana. i don't like banana and as such, did not eat any but i fed it to my residents and they all asked for a second piece so i guess it wasn't too bad ^_^

april13 - rainy day today. this is brisbane city from the corner of melbourne and boundry streets in west end at about five thirty tonight on our way home.

april16 - i have a lot of scars and they all tell my story. this one is a nothingness. when i was twelve or so i had a mole removed. i like the shape of it. i always wanted to get it tattooed, but i don't know what it's meant to be yet.

april17 - cam photo taken for smile friday (a tumblr meme)
and since i didn't like any of the other "real" photos
i took for today, this is it ^_^

april18 - plain cake, lemon icing with dark chocolate ontop. for k. is his birthday on monday.

april19 - hunting all over the city for a watchband to no avail.

april20 - i always knew i wanted tattoos and i knew i wanted them on my inner wrists. i knew i had to do it first in case i couldn't deal with the pain. turns out the pain is one of the reasons i love it so much.

power on my right , harmony on my left. i know everyone thinks kanji are done to death. i don't care. these mean something to me. they are how i try to live my life. it took me a long time to get myself under control, and this is how i remind myself daily of who i am and how i want to be.

april21 - this describes almost exactly how i feel right this second.

but my little friend, eloise does not like to be patient.
we had a lot of fun. picnics on the floor, blowing bubbles,
chasing the cat. she's the only child on the planet that i like.

march25 - "fuck work" is all i think all morning but i have to go sometime.

march26 - best part of having two short days at work
where i finish at one pm is that i can go home,
shower and have a nap on the lounge while
pretending to watch t.v.

march27 - fucking around, watching t.v.,
waiting for friends to come online, yada yada.

march28 - because when your boy cooks you bacon and eggs
for breakfast at two in the afternoon because you slept
in due to overindulgence the night before he deserves
to have a photo taken and posted to illustrate how
awesome he is? yes. something like that.

march29 - my favourite dress is also
the ugliest piece of clothing i own...
which just makes it even better.

march22 - i've spent the day in my head. napping, not quite reading, staring at the ceiling, staring at my feet.

i live at the very top of a steep hill. it is the worst part of my day, climbing that street, but sometimes once i reach the top, i get a beautiful view.

march21 - after voting today, i went and raided the cupcake parlour. gooey fudge which i have already eaten (messy and delicious!) and a rocky road which i am saving for 3am or something equally as deserving of another cupcake.

march19 - he says he can tell how i'm feeling by my hair. this is 'crazy hair', big wrinkly weird. he's right. it reflects my mood perfectly.

february23 - went swimming this afternoon after work,
then on to jackpot noodles for dinner. sweet and sour pork is
a standard that i love but never choose because i always think
"oh, i can have that anytime!"

february24 - i hunted this photo of myself out.
the codexed.com/picture-this prompt of the week is youth,
and this photo reminds me of the good bits of growing up.
unfortunately, i don't recall a lot of being a kid
because most of it was horrible (or so i'm told) but
i remember things like this. that shirt for one.. oh dear.
tomboy much? mhm. i was about five here.

taken at my mother and step-fathers wedding.
i was, of course, the flower girl. i kept falling over the dress.
also, the microwave blew up, the toilet backed up
and it rained on the outdoor wedding. surely

i left work early yesterday
my girls (twins) had an hour
with their support worker and they did some painting.
M did this. she doesn't know what
it is, but i nearly cried
when i saw it because it's
very obviously the bushfires
snuck into her brain through unwatched
news reports or something.
this is a woman who does not
connect at all with anyone.
you have to say her name four times
before she'll even look at you.
*sighs* anyway.
